This morning make the long drive to Shekar (14,268 feet or 4,800m) historic stop for trekkers on the way to Mt. Everest. On the drive you'll top Lakpa Pass at 17,121 feet. In the evening head to the Crystal Monastery for some fantastic views of Everest and the Himalayas.
