Day 5 - Visit Gyantse

If you're feeling up to it, hike up the hill to the Gyantse Dzong a thirteenth century fortress that affords some beautiful views of the valley and the village. In the afternoon, take your time in the Pelkhor Choede temple complex that includes the Kumbum Chorten. The murals and art in the complex are some of the best in Tibet.
