St. Patrick's Day...in China?:
The Chinese have no history of celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Ask a regular man on the street and he probably wouldn't know what you were talking about. That said, what started in 2007 has become an annual event.
Shanghai Irish Week Event Details - 2011:
The Irish community had planned a bigger-than-ever parade on Nanjing Road. Unfortunately, the Shanghai authorities have canceled the event this year for "security reasons".
