Visage Patisserie Profile

By Sara Naumann, About.com

Description:

Combine Buddhist and Asian ambiance with chocolate and you get Visage. (Equals super yummy goodness in a tranquil atmosphere.)
Address:

Officially: Unit 3, Bldg 1, Lane 181 Taicang Road, Xintiandi. Practically, enter Xintiandi with Starbucks on your right, turn left in front of Luna cafe. Visage is just to the left, Kabb Restaurant will be in front of you.
Neighborhood:

Xintiandi, French Concession
Cuisine:

I think there's a food menu, I saw some plates anyway, but there's really only one reason to go: dessert. Great pastries, cakes, breads and chocolates are the first thing you'll see when you enter this little patisserie.
Price:

A tad on the expensive side, but it's worth it.
Hours of Operation:

Daily 11am-2am
Guide Comments:
  • Visage is Eric Perez's signature patisserie. His delightful desserts can also be found at Face Bar & Lan Na Thai as well as Song Fang Maison de the.

  • May I recommend the hot chocolate? It is probably the best I've ever had and I am doing my best to become a connoisseur. It has a deep rich flavor that tastes like a melted dark chocolate bar and it's topped with a chocolate marshmellow. Mmmm.
