South Beauty is a chain of Sichuan restaurants that got its start in Beijing. There are five outlets in Shanghai and while 881 is certainly the snazziest, I prefer the Tiaojiang Road outlet for its classy space and open kitchen (check out the cooks frying up those red hot peppers).
