Getting to Moganshan has been a goal of mine, and thus on various years' January Travel Resolution, for a while. We finally did it at the end of April 2012. And while in about two hours you'll be well away from Shanghai inside the bamboo forests of Moganshan, you feel like your light-years away from the city - which is exactly the purpose of a weekend trip.
