Notes:
The Three Kingdom dynastic period is subdivided into the Wei, “way”, period from 220-265, the Shu, “shoe”, period from 221-263, and the Wu, “woo”, period from 229-280. These houses rose in power after the Han collapsed marking the end of a centralized Chinese state for over 400 years until the Sui Dynasty in AD 581.
