I just happened on CityWeekend's awesome roundup of "hidden Chinese eats" - a quick review of where to get the best of the best of various types of Chinese cuisine - from Shanghai, Shaoxing and Shaanxi - in Shanghai. I've given myself a homework assignment: start at the top and eat at every single one.
