Chinese New Year falls on February 10, 2013 and while the official holiday is from February 9 through February 15,
people begin to travel for days leading up to and after the holiday making extended visits to hometowns. Domestic travel is doable but it can be busy and expensive. That said, if you'll be here during the holidays, enjoy it!
I've put together a list of things to think about how best to spend the holidays. Sometimes booking in advance is best, but there are always last-minute deals and cancellations.
