July in China

Wednesday July 1, 2009
July enjoys the dubious title of "Wettest Month in China". (It only wins by one day, on average, over May, June and August though, so it's not that bad.) There’s no getting around it. Welcome to the stew pot: July in China is hot and wet. Hot and very wet in the south like Guangzhou and Yangshuo…hot and wet in the center like Shanghai…hot and a little less wet in the north like Beijing.

But hey, after all, it is summer. Most places are hot and humid in July! Get your quick-dry clothes organized and head to China for the summer.

Enjoy China in July!
