The Xinhai Jin Jiang Hotel, Beijing - A Convenient Location for Exploring Beijing

Sunday May 27, 2007
There are hundreds of hotels in Beijing from which to choose, and with the Olympics coming up, more and more accommodations are springing up all over the city. When you go online to search, it’s hard to figure out where to stay when you might not have any idea what the layout of the city is like and what location would be good.

I can help you out a little there. Beijing has some great properties, but if you’re looking for clean, convenient and relatively inexpensive, the Xinhai Jin Jiang Hotel is a good bet. Located just a few minutes walk from Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City, you can have your breakfast and be out the door sight-seeing in minutes. It’s probably best to book online for the best rates, but try your travel agent too, sometimes they can get even better rates. Either way, you probably pay less than US$100 for a nice double room. You don't want to pay too much, considering you probably won’t spend too much time in your hotel. So I'd say that’s a pretty nice deal. Enjoy!
