Sunday May 20, 2007
If you’re planning to add Tibet to your China Itinerary, it’s important to know How to Get to Lhasa. “Don’t you just hop on a plane from Beijing?” asks the itinerant vacationer. Well, no, it’s not that simple.

First off, you’ll need special permissions from the Tibetan Tourism Bureau organized in advance. So be sure you make those arrangements with your travel agent before you leave for China, or leave yourself plenty of time once in China to arrange it.

Read all about Getting to Lhasa, a trip, once organized, will surely pay off when you visit this beautiful region and its gentle people.
