Beijing Activities for Kids

Thursday May 17, 2007
I’ve been spending a lot of time outdoors with my two-year-old enjoying the nice spring weather. We have to enjoy it while we can, for very soon, these lovely balmy days will turn into sweaty sticky ones and we’ll find ourselves spending most of our afternoons at the outdoor swimming pool.

If you’re planning a trip to China with your kids this summer, a trip I highly recommend as China has a lot to offer them, remember to add some fun activities just for them. This will ensure they have as much fun as you and probably make them a bit more amenable to your itinerary if they know there are some stops just for them.

Beijing is especially fun for children – there are huge monuments to see and what kid doesn’t want to tell his friends he climbed the Great Wall? But if yours tend to get a little bored with grand museums and the like, then add a few of these activities just for kids into your Beijing itinerary and they’ll be sure to like the city as much as you do.
